Make A Wish is a group that grants wishes for seriously ill children. You can wish for a trip or a large ticket item. A lot of kids ask for trips to Walt Disney World. My daughter (when she was 12) wanted to meet a young Canadian movie actor, so we flew to Canada (although our trip was from The Starlight Foundation, not Make A Wish) At the time, Make A Wish in CT told us they were not granting wishes for CF kids because they "were so close to a cure". Anyway, I ramble......
The Starlight Foundation flew us (a family of 4) to Alberta Canada for 6 days. We had a hotel, a rental car, a full day on the movie set, loads of gifts for both of the kids, pictures with Devon, Emily even had dinner with Devon. We got a video tape of them making the movie and Emily with Devon, Scott Bairstow and Jonathan Taylor Thomas. Everything was paid for plus we did some sightseeing on our own. WONDERFUL TRIP!

Last anonymous -- I believe Make a Wish would still apply to your daughter. When they turned me down for not being sick enough, that was more than 10 years ago. I believe they have changed the rules and now all CFers, no matter the condition, are eligible. No hurt in finding out.

Yes you can only apply once. And in my personal opinion, I'd wait until she's a little older than 4. I had my trip when I was roughly 11.
