what is the normal color for our mucus?

mine is kind of yellow, it is now and when I was sick. it it supposed to change color when your sick? and is there a normal color? also....is it common to cough up hardly any mucus when your on IV antibiotics, like getting over being sick?..and then when your healthy again and doing regular nebs there is a little more?

you might want to post this in the adults section too!

mine is usually a light/mediumish greenish yellow (more green though) if that makes sense! haha! and when i'm sick it gets progressively darker green, thicker and (gross) tastes different. usually after about 8-10 days on IVs i'm coughing up much less mucous and at the end of my course (2-3 weeks) i barely cough any up at all. but after a few weeks of that and the IVs are over i start coughing it up again with the vest and regular treatments.
