I thought that once you are over 18 you can not participate,I'm 21, but I would wish for a vacation to the bahamas with my family.

When I was about 8 years old I went to a New Kids On the Block concert for my wish.....LOSER!!!! My sister still makes fun of me, saying that I could have had anything I wanted and I chose to see NKOTB!
Made me cry just reading what you wrote...I am 31 w/CF...and there are times I get depressed. However, my wish would be for my brother to no longer have CF. I feel that it has made me a strong person...and I can deal with it...but I hate seeing my brother suffer from its affects.

HEY..
Just reading what others wrote about make a wish! Funny someone said if they had a wish they would go the bahamas. I was nominated at 16 and my wish was to go to the bahamas with my family for a week and swim with the dolphins! That was two years ago now and i still think about it! The Dolphin swim was an experience never to be forgot. We spent one week in a high rise hotel (not my chioce!!)where i was treated like royalty! We even had the extended leg room seats on the plane out there! Whilst there we decided to go on a day trip. We took a speed boat to a desert island where we got to feed sharks and sting ray, then went drift snorkelling and actually spotted sharks about 5 metres away no kidding! Anyway enough of me babbling on! If you get the chance.. go for it (dont waste it on a computer like my brother did though! choose something to remember, take your time deciding too!)

wow having like one wish is crazy!---obviously the wishes i woudl really want like peace and a cure for CF cant come right this very inute an d aent really tangible..

shopping spree would be nice, but that goes away afterwrads ya know?
meeting famous people/going to a show/award show would be awesome too....
but something i think i would love on top of everything would be to go on vaca w like my family and best best friends!...
i never actually made my wish, my parents thought it was only for people who were worse of then myself and by me making one i would be 'abusing' the org and wasnt right...oh well

Yeah my parents told me that 2! but if i did have one wish it would be2 go scuba diving in the gr8 barrier reefe in austrailia. R get a nice sports car r something. growing up i always wanted to go to NEW YORK but as it turns out we're going there at the end of december anyway! I think you have to be nominated for it anyway!
We have Make a Wish in Australia as well, and my daughter now 11 made her wish 2 yrs ago - for a swimming pool. They gave us an above ground pool, fencing, and landscaping. She has lots of fun in it and will do for many years, it is also an alternative to the regular physio routine.
hhmmm that not fair! For my make a wish i aksed if they could convert my garage into a gym and somewhere i could do my physio etc, but they said no because it will add value to my house (like i was really going to sell the house because they converted the garage!) Seems strange how you can get a pool wouldnt that be seen as adding value to your house. I live in England mayb the rules are different!!?
Hey! Wouldn't it be nice if you really COULD wish to be cured?? But yeah, I was 7 when I made my wish, and I wished for a piano...I got a beautiful, white, baby grand...I love it so much, and I still play it aaaaall the time. I think I made the right choice, only I wish it were black now haha, but I think my mom told them white since it would go better in our house...?

I agree with the people who said i wish c.f would go away 4 me and others who have it. i think itz the most hardest thing 2 live wid. also i agree with the people who said that they get depressed and cry alot i cry all the time because itz so upsetting. but my wish would be EVERYONE WITH C.F NO LONGER HAD IT!!!!
