Hey there,
I was just thinking. I have been living with staph and mrsa cultures for like the last year now, and i can tell that i am getting a bit worse, but not that bad. I can still do all the things I've been doing for the past 5 years now, just with slight difference. I don't do anything to treat these bugs, as they rarely cause an infection that requires antibiotics...
Is this wrong? Should i be treating these bugs so that nothing comes up in my sputum? I've always cultured something...and i just kinda figured it was ok....but after reading and thinking, I'm wondering, should i actively try and get rid of them? Or just treat them when they cause infection. I dunno, my doctors seem fine with letting it go, but I'm not sure that's the best solution. Will they ever go away? What do you guys do?
I am especially interested in the 30-40 year olds. Cause if I feel kinda crappy now, how will I ever get to 30-40 if i keep living with these bugs? I dunno, I'm cofused...
Thanks guys
