Good Morning,

Today by great surpise our sons vest arrived. I'm super excited to start using it! Was wondering of ideas of where to store it. I'm thinking of shopping for an end table with a shelf that closes to keep it in. I want it to be part of the living room, but don't want it out to be messed with......CRAZY LITTLE TODDLER ON THE LOOSE...I would love to hear where some of you keep them.

Thanks in Advance,

Sarah

We keep it in the duffle bag it came in. After its used, I put it all away and store it under an end table in our family room. I've thought of other possibilities, but have neven gotten that far. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I did see an episode of a design show last year where they did a room for a family that had a CF son. It was a basement play room and they made this very cool chair, like a throne, that had a drawer underneath for the vest machine and supplies. If I had an ounce of carpenter ability, I'd love to make my daughter something like that. But alas, I am severely lacking in that department, and don't have the money to commission one.

I store my vest in its bag. When my vest is not in use, I put it in the corner of my bedroom. I would prefer to store it in my closet, but I have tons of other medical supplies to store.
I hope the vest works out for your kiddo.

Hello,

For the first year that my son did the vest, while he was still in a crib, we kept it on a night stand with a shelf in our bedroom. When he turned 2,we got him a "big boy bed" and we bought a bookcase head board that has cubbies with sliding doors. It just fits in the cubby with the door. We keep his nebulizer and all the parts in it. When it is not in use, it is behind a door hidden. The rest of the bookcase headboard has his toys and books.

We also bought him a full size adjustable bed. When he does his vest and neb,we can just raise the bed to a more upright position. Or if he is sick, he can easily sleep more upright. The full bed, gives some extra room, so that one of us can sit with him and read a book or watch a video while he does his treatment. He just turned 3, so he still needs someone with him.
