Do you do overnight feeds?

Do you have a mickey button?

What type of formula do you use?

How many calories do you get overnight?

yes, yes, Kids Essential 1.5, 2 boxes a night so its 700 cals a night I think.

Yes we do overnight feess for my 15 year old. He does have a micky and he uses nutren 2.0 or peptamin 1.5 he gets about 2500 overnight.

Emily has a MicKey button and gets 3 cans of Pediasure Enteral Formula 5 nights a week. Three cans totals 711 calories. We also add powdered baby formula to the bag to add about an extra 80 calories.

We'll be switching soon to 1 1/2 cans Pediasure 1 1/2 cans Ensure (I think). Calorie count should remain about the same.

I had a brief moment of thought and then I realized:

a: insurance won't pay for what goes in her tube then, and 700 cals/night of whole foods per night is going to be a good amount.

b: its a lot of extra work to add to our plate. I already work a full time job, mostly from home, while being a stay-at-home,taxi-cab, mom to three active kids. Adding a nightly blending, feeding and cleaning process to the daily neb cleaning and other feeding tube stuff is not appealing to me.
