Work from home to care for the more important things

In 2003, I gave birth to my daughter. The next five months of her life were filled with doctors visits and stays in the hospital as we tried to figure out why she was so sick. When she was 5 months old, she weighed 8 pounds. Finally, we found out she had CF. Since then I have made it a priority to keep her healthy. I quit my job, but that meant a loss of income. Fortunately, I was able to find a team and a company that fit into what I was looking for. Work from home, no selling, no stocking, no delivering and no sales parties. It is a company that I am proud of and a company that is making a difference in this world. Let me share with you what I have found.

If you are "so proud" then why post anonymously? There has already been a couple of posts with this same link...I smell a rat...

A post from June 15th
" As a teacher, I know how easily germs can be transferred from one person to another. I taught school for 6 years before my daughter was diagnosed with CF. It is very important to me to keep my daughter healthy. I quit my job so I could keep her at home. It is so much easier to take her to her doctors appoitments and when she is sick I don't have to worry about missing work. However, my desicion to stay home meant a loss of income. I found a company and a team that fits into what I was looking for. Work from home the way I want, no running around, no selling, no stocking products, no delivering. It is a company that I am proud of and a company that is making a difference in this world. Let me share with you what I have found.

The above paragraph sounds like a stupid infomercial!

Hi,

I checked the website quickly and it seemed a little vague. What exactly does one do when they work for this firm? Sell enviromentally safe products? Is it a multi-level marketing type set up? I was briefly involved in a firm like that (Melaleuca), and found that it was nearly impossible to earn a substantial income unless you were one of the very first people to join the firm.

How does this firm work?

Thanks,

Yeah, I was willing to give this person the benefit of the doubt at first, but since she hasn't made any replies that I've seen I'm sure the administrators will be blocking her soon. It's kind of sad what some people will do for a little bit of money. But I'm saying that knowing full well i was a telemarketer for a couple months just because it payed well. True, i didn't sell much and i did quit for moral reasons (I was selling people cupon books! Ugh). Oh, well, it's in the past and can't be changed. It does bring up to mind that we probably shouldn't judge this person too harshly, though. After all, we know absolutely nothing about her. He, he, listen to me; I'm such a hypocrite. =-) Twice actually, I was a hypocrite twice in this one message. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0"> I forget; what does the embarassed face look like? Oh well, I know it doesn't look all that embarrassed, but that's what it's supposed to be. =-)

She is selling for the company Melaluca (I think that is how it is spelled). I was trying to find work from home and when I found out what the "Stayin home and lovin it" was I ran the other direction.

It's actually sick that people would use something like this to sell a product... like think of all the people who's lives actually ended up like that... without the fairy tale ending.. it's actually completely insensitive that they would even try this.. like give me a break.. it just pisses me off cause when i was 15 months i was 12 lbs and they made my parents drive three hours to a better hospital with a collapsed lung because i "might" have a hint of cf... i mean niehter of my parent had to quit their job.. but still.. it's just sick and a little insulting
