Working Out

Does anyone understand why when you workout one day you might feel tons of energy from it, and the next day it drains you? Why does working out sometimes make you tired? My only thought is that it's due to the amount of o2 you're getting, but that doesn't seem like a good enough answer. Any thoughts?

For me it is a few different things.

If I happen to get low blood sugar while walking that can exhaust me. I end up feeling really tired and weak and have to stop ... then I check my blood sugar because I just don't feel "right" and it is low.

I also have days where walking makes my legs sore. If I try walking the next day and don't give mylegs time to recoop then yes it can make me tired more easily.

Also if I am having bad allergy days or bad days with breathing it can make it more difficult. If I am more congested due to the weather I will breathe harder or be more short of breath and that can in turn exhaust me.

Happy Holidays,
Lindsey

Hey
Im get the same way when I go to the gym; sometimes I feel amazing and am so pumped but when I go to the gym the next day i might be so exhausted and have to quit. I find that it may be an O2 thing but I am not sure. I get really short of breath when I do cardio. I am fine WHILE i am doing it but once I stop I cough my head off and have a hard time getting my breath back. I love the way I feel most of the time when I go to the gym but those "off days" suck! My doctors really encouraged being active so I try to go as much as possible and just tough through those Cr*ppy workout sessions. Haha plus I hate my lil belly!!

Good Luck, Karen

I'm not sure either, but it definitely happens to me. I play volleyball competitively and it can really get me down when I can't bring myself to finish our training session. I get grumpy and no-one knows why -- it's because I'm so exhausted!

Anyway, I have thought that perhaps it's asthma/allergies, but there doesn't seem to be much of a pattern.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. It's so frustrating. I wonder if allergies play a part for me, I have no idea.
