Anyone here had the opportunity to see what this planet is made of? In 2002 my sister and I were given the greatest Christmas present ever from my Father...he sent us on a backpacking trip to Europe. What was supposed to last for a month or two dragged out to a full 3 months by the time we were ready to come home. Only spent about a month of the entire time with my sister, though. She brought a friend who I couldn't stand, so I went off on my own for a good while. Countries I visited in those 3 months were: France, Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Ireland, Northern Ireland, England, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Germany. Out of all the moments that stand out(there are hundreds upon hundreds) the biggest spur of the moment decision I made was to do this while in Interlaken, Switzerland:

I couldn't even take a breath until the chute opened, not sure if it was because of the beautiful view of the Swiss Alps surrounding me or because of falling to the earth at over 100 miles per hour...
By the time the trip was ending I was pretty sick. Got back to the States and the medical team was freaking out because I had lost so much weight(have no digestion issues). What is funny is that all that weight was lost because I was probably walking at least 10 miles a day for those 3 months.
Glad I made the trip when I did, don't think my health would hold up like that ever again. Where has everyone else had the opportunity to travel to?
