My son was diagnosed almost 2 months ago. He has always had somewhat of a cough. I have been SO WORRIED about whether I would "recognize" a problem.
Well, yesterday my son developed a cough in the PM, which only got slightly better after the vest and nebulizer. In the AM, his cough was more tight but juicy and unproductive, with no improvement after the vest and Nebulizer. His teacher gave him a nebulizer treatment at school today. When I picked him up from school, his cough was so terrible and so frequent, It was so clear to me that I needed to call his CF coordinator.
For those of you who are worrying if you will know when to call the M.D. NO WORRIES.........IT WILL BE CHRYSTAL CLEAR!
