I know this drug can be prescribed to actually help acne although it is not the drug of choice for it.But does anyone thing it can cause acne or cause acne to be worse if you are prone! I started it in Nov. 2008 hoping I can get a two punch to help my acne which was kinda bad but not horrific and help the CF. Well since my acne is HORRIFIC and I am now under a dermatologist care and wondering if it is the Zithromax that has caused such a significant change. No other drugs have changed. Any ideas or thought!

i don't really have a solid answer for you but i started zithro after i had already had the derm prescribe me stuff for my face "issues" and i didn't notice a difference either way...sorry that wasn't really helpful to you....

I have used it a number of times in the Z-Packs and it never
has caused me any problems. My Brother has taken it every other day
for a year with no problems as well.
