it didn't work...they tried 2 times and she didn't sweat nearly enough. I tried everything...saran wrap over her arm, dressing her as if we where going out in the snow...letting her walk and play to try to make her warm up.....nothing worked

what's next? we se our doctor next week....in the mean time, I took another appointment but this time in a very big childrens hospital where they are used to doing these tests...mabye they have tricks or something...

does this happen alot?

Yes, this happens a lot. At least it did for us. We did SIX tests to get two readings. We actually had a diagnosis before we got the second reading. It was sooo frustrating. Maybe you can ask them to do genetic blood work?

I am glad you are going elsewhere for additonal testing. The more its done at a place the less likely (tho not a guarantee) of problems or contaminated results....

I would inquire about the genetic testing anyway tho. That takes a lot longer to get results on...

Keep us updated!

I would say that if they keep not getting enough sweat from her, then go right to the blood test. Why keep putting a child through so many tests when there's a simple blood test that will be a positive yes or no?
