oh, a girl! Exciting. So far, my daughter has been a snap compared to my son - but then again, she's only 3 months! Lucky you to have one of each. Congratulations. And let me tell you, you will have no problem locating the land of pink - it's getting out of it that becomes a challenge!

Hi Wendy.

I am so happy and thrilled for you. You will be best friends and I know this from my friends who have daughters.
I do not have any kids yet and I just wanted to say congrats. I wish you the best and your family and an easy birth. I would like to have a baby this year and probably would like to know the sex of child. Take care.

Hi Michelle-
Congrats to you too lady! btw-I've tried to ask you for a long time-why is your screen name boxer? Do you box or do you have boxer dogs?
We are not finding out the sex of the baby. In some ways I'd love to know of course-for practical reasons. But I've been with several of my sisters in labor and seen both-my one sister always finds the sex and my other never finds out the sex. So I can honestly say we're making an informed decision.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I completely understand why people do chose to find out. But for my particular personality I feel that not knowing will motivate me to keep holding on through labor-b/c if I do I'll be able to find out soon what the sex of the baby is. I get very tense, and I think not knowing will help give me something to focus on.

I think being surprised is great. My husband found out first (at the appt.) and I tried to hold out but with him knowing and me not I couldn't take it. So I finally asked him to tell me three days later.

My screen name is because I have an adorable 5 year old boxer. His name is Tyler. He is a smaller dog (about 40 lbs) and has very pretty markings. He is the best, he has so much energy and such a personality. Do you have boxers?
If I can I will try to post a picture.

oooh! I have always had boxers too! I have Scarlett who is 2. She is about 65 lbs. My hubby and I show boxers. I love them sooo much. We had another, but b/c she was always beating up on the other one we had to let her go! When our baby gets a few yrs old we'll probably get a male.
