Some background: my mother is the program director at my college (Physical Therapist Assistant program) and this semester she's teaching Fundamentals of Disease.
Right now we're going over infectous diseases, and she covered pseudomonas, and said, "I'm not sure if it can get into the lungs" (turns to the RT in the class) "Can it get into the lungs??" Meanwhile, I'm sitting in the back with an "Are you kidding me?" look on my face, shaking my head yes.
Uh, hello mother??? Forgetting your child <em>has </em>pseudomonas now??? hahahahahaha, she must have been having a brain-fart or something xD
Anyone else's parents/family members say something silly like this?
