Rice Milk

Archie is cows milk sensitive so since weaning I have been giving
him rice milk mixed with 25mls of coconut milk to add some
fat. I spoke to my Naturapath and he said I shouldn't use too much
coconut milk as it wasn't a good fat (saturated). Archie's weight
has always been good, he's about on the 60% but I worry if I don't
add a little bit of extra fat to his bottles, his weight will drop
off. I tried adding a bit of olive oil but that was yuck and made
his poo go wrong. Has anyone got any ideas of what I could add to
his bottles just to keep the fat intake to about 6-7 grams per
bottle. Or do you think adding a bit of coconut milk would still be
ok?
I do give him some soy milk but don't like to give him too much due
to too many phyto estrogens. I've tried him on goats and real milk
but he is still slightly allergic - gets a bit wheezy.
I suggest talking to the cf doctor about the coconut milk. In my opinion, I wouldn't worry about it being saturated fat if he needs the extra calories. Stick with what works. And I don't believe sat. fats affect cfers the same way they would someone who properly absorbs their fats.

Sesame oil is good but try everything in tiny amounts. Something very good in large amounts can hurt so maybe try organic olive oil in an even smaller amount than last time.
