Thanks for the well wishes. I wish I knew you all better! I am some improved. The Vancomycin is still bothering my kidneys so we're keeping tabs on creatinine levels. I'll be joining the exclusive port "club" this week and looking forward to it. Five PIC lines in a year is overkill, IMHO. :)

just an update: still here. This week's PFTs are no better than last week's so I'm staying until Dec. 23. Thanks for the hugs and well wishes!
