G-Tube and Hunger

    Hey,

I got a G-Tube placed last week and I still am not hungry at all when I wake up. I have been eating minimal amounts of food for the past week, mainly relying on my 1500 cal tube feedings at night. The doctors have told me that this is normal, and people need to acclimate to it...

    Treadmill vs. Outside Running

I ran XC in high school and inside is far easier IMHO. Air conditioning, padded running, constant to slight variation in inclination, no wind. But outside is so much more fun!

    Atelectasis starting at night

I'm having my gallbladdar removed in a few weeks. My pain was mainly upper back between the shoulder blades, some lower right abdomen. I didn't have much pain in my lungs but defintly felt like shocks up and down my back. THe ultrasound may reval more than just a gallbladdar- it could be...

    Dry feet, nasty toenails...

Psoriasis. Trust me. My feet bothered me for YEARS, they were dry, the nails were disgusting, and during the winter I could barely walk because they would crack open and bleed. Then we finally went to a dermatologist, in 5 seconds he looked an said "Thats some bad Psoriasis there". Two creams...

    Denied coverege of the VEST

I was denied coverage multiple times. Talk to your doctors about it, it is pretty common in their opinion. They appealed the decision to BCBS about getting the Hill-Rom (the one I use). After about a year, not joking at all, they finally approved it after paperwork and some phone conversations...
