I had no problem getting my permit. All they wanted to know was that I was enrolled in driver's ed. They said nothing about medical papers. Don't see why they'd need to know about your CF, it doesn't affect anything as far as driving's concerned.

Sean, I completely get what you're saying and quite frankly I'm relieved someone else feels this way too. I have CF and it's been killing me, I've been depressed for so long. It irritates me so much when people go on and on about how "grateful" they are, or all this "God intented it" crap...

Oh, that's just great. Of course it has to do with the goddamn CF. After hiking up a mountain I could see the salt on my arms. It was discusting. Does EVERYTHING wrong with me have to do with CF?? That's just effing great.

Yes, I have this problem as well. My doctor thinks it's all great and I should gain more, but they just don't get that I don't want to. I want to lose weight and I want them off my back. I find it hard to believe that it's hard for people with CF to gain weight because I gain it just fine.

I've been having the same sort of problem. I don't skip meds/treatments (most of the time), but CF is still making me very depressed and not motivated. It's screwed up my life and I've started cutting myself. I'm so self-destructive cuz I figure, "What's the point? I'm not really living."
