No the blood work was the first time they ever mentioned it. I think they were doing it as a precautionary measure as so many kids arent diagnosed as quickly as they should...

Just heard from the doctor and she said that Alysa's levels were higher then they would have liked but they are factoring in the fact that my husband gave her a donut before the blood work was taken (what a goof haha) so they are not necessilary going to go by that and have decided to do an oral...

SHE'S HOME!!!!!!! Everything looks good. They have her on her new meds and stuff we are just waiting for her diabetes test to come back but her Dr. is 99% sure it will be negative
