What do you mean "remote" pft's? The last couple of visits they did of my pft on a portable hand held machine. It was interesting but I always liked looking at the screen to keep me motivated.

I undrstand not wanting to take prednisone. If it is inflammation how about singulair and an inhaled localized steroid like nasacort or do you already do that? Also what is so wrong about a round of antibiotics once in a while if it makes you feel better?

No I was not on antibiotics. My clinic does not like to do oral antibiotics even if you feel crappy.
