Yeah, that doesn't sound like such a hot idea. People with CF are suggested to stay away from others who have it, because they can catch each others germs that one person who CF might be immune to and carry the germ, and give it to someone else.

If you don't have an acapella you could always buy some balloons for your daughter and have her blow them up about 15 times, it is good exercise for the lungs, and might make her cough a bit so she can get some of the mucus up that way.
