    using oxygen

    I live in ohio. We've been having some pretty dry, cold weather. It gets pretty humid here though in the spring, and that makes it really hard for me to breathe...maybe it will help with the dryness in my nose though. I guess I'll just have to use the oxygen seasonally, lol.

    using oxygen

    hey all! I got a humidifier bottle for my oxygen concentrator a few weeks ago because the O2 was drying my nose out so badly. I also tried Ayr, the saline gel for sinuses and that stuff burned the inside of my nose horribly. I have yet to notice a difference at all with the humidifier and I've...

    port difficulty

    thanks for the concern! I have not gotten it replaced. It's feeling better than it was and is working properly for the most part. Although, I'm still not used to where it is and it's pretty temperamental. I actually talked to my doc yesterday about it and he said all the long term IVs I'm on...

    Constant Itching

    It could also be from the long term vanco. Vanco has always made me itch! When I'm on it, I'm always on 50mg benadryl, too. Itching and redness is the most common side effect with vanco. Hope your kiddo feels better soon!

    Got my pulse oximetry test results.

    hey carly! I just had one of these done too a few weeks ago with my lowest pulse ox while sleeping being 80. Your numbers aren't too bad, but I was told that if you fall below 88 at any point, it's recommended that you start some sort of oxygen therapy. With me falling down to 80 there was no...

    to those on oxygen

    I was just wondering if O2 made you guys feel different/better. Using it at night hasn't really made me feel any different so I wondered if using it during exertion, or using more of it, made a difference. missT: I asked my dr. how possible it was that I might need O2 just at night, so he...

    Hey guys! This may be a dumb question. I was just wondering if being on oxygen pretty much all the time makes you feel less out of breath when doing activities? I'm on oxygen at night (just started) and I don't really notice any difference on or off of it. Though, I do stay up late and...
