I just pretty much deal with the pain and inflamation too, I am allergic to sulfa, so arthritis meds are out of the question, as is glucosymine (sp). Sometimes I will have flare ups resembling gout, just gotta deal with them, if they are super bad (swelling and almost unbearable) then I will go...
