ok great, thanx! i figured it was muscles, b/c it's all across the bottom of my ribs and across my diaphram. It is a bit better today. i will still take Motrin so i don't hurt myself further. Thanx for all the help!

Good i'm not the only one who gets a little irked when i hear about these things! I know bottom line we can't really feel bad, but for people like US, with lung probs we did nothing to deserve them for, it is a kick in the ass kind of....whatever. Glad he's ok is all i can say i guess...

You can do it into a PEP mask like i do, or with anything i'm assuming. It takes the harshness away from coughing, b/c full-on, forceful coughing is tiring, this makes you cough without forcing you.
