    Approved For SSDI

Jennifer, did you have to update your diagnosis code with them? It may be a good idea to let them know you don't have confirmed CF (if you haven't already) in case it may come back to bite you in the butt later. As for back-pay, I'm thinking they will only go back one year? Anyone else know the...

Low blood sugar - late morning

I have had the very same thing happen, and often. It is scary, especially if you're driving and/or not near a snack! I have started carrying glucose tabs in my purse, so I can just pop one in when I feel the low sugar coming on while away from home. I also make a point of always eating a snack...

    Medicare and home IVs

Jennifer, I figured they must have paid for the nurses. I agree on them not paying for the meds<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif" border="0">. I'm sure we're saving 10s of thousands of $$ by doing IVs at home!

    Medicare and home IVs

You may be referring to my reply to Loulou. I should have said that Medicare would not pay one penny towards the IV meds. My primary ins paid 80% on meds, but Medicare would not help with the remaining 20%, which was $1000. so I have to pay that. Sure makes me ??? doing home IVs in the future...

    Colonoscopy

I was recently evaluated for tx and it was too early. However, they gave me a list of things to get done in the mean-time. One of them was a colonoscopy. My question is, have any of you had one done & did they put you under, just make you so you don't care, or what? I'm a bit apprehensive...
