    neuropathy?

HbA1c is not a very reliable indicator of average blood sugars in CF patients. Our RBC tend not to live as long as normal and thus provides a false low.

IIRC, DF508 is found in ~37% of the population in North America. What the prevalence of double delta's is, I don't know. Incomudrox is correct, there doesn't seem to be a strong correlation between genotype and phenotype.

    karate

Um, kids can receive "blows" from just about any sport. As Ashley correctly pointed out, martial arts for kids is pretty no-contact. I would think that would be a safer bet than something like gymnastics (which I did when I was young and never received any serious "blows") or even running...

    neuropathy?

I can't help you with personal experience, however I have had patients who have neuropathies secondary to diabetes. I can tell you that the primary treatment is a very strict range to keep your blood sugars within to prevent additional nerve damage. Sometimes topical analgesics are used...

It's flagyl, and a commonly used antibiotic for C-diff, although it can treat a host of problems including trichomoniasis and amebiasis. It's also carcinogenic in mice FWIW.

    Kinesitherapy - how?

I love the Russian language, sadly I have not had the time to study it much. I think Kinesitherapy better translates into physiotherapy in English. To that extent here are some sites that might help. A lot of kids and adults here use a pneumatic vest (http://www.thevest.com), which allows for...

Rita Mae Brown wrote a book called Sudden Death in 1983, in which she paraphrased the quote. The earliest know print of the quote appeared in a 1981 Narcotics Anonymous pamphlet. It seems to have been a relatively well know quote, but we still don't know where it first originated. The exact...
