I can't take any quinilones because of what levaquin did to me. it would have to be a dire situation where i am in the hospital for me to take them.

levaquin is a scary drug. i will avoid it at all costs. I had SEVERE joint pain that woke me up in the night crying. I also suffered a torn meniscus in my knee and now have to undergo surgery b/c of it and can't exericse.

thanks liz. one finding is that it didn't help at all. but they don't now about logn term use yet. am sick right now. mucous sitting in my upper bronchials. won't go down, won't come up. not sure what to do at this point. took mucinex, nac, drinking tons of water. hit myslef on the back...
