My dd is also PS and has never had any issues and they did check her anus at the annual appt. I did not ask why but assumed it was standard. I understand your uneasiness though.

I also have a HEPA with charcoal prefilter. Mine is Honeywell. I think it made a big difference, together with other changes we made. I keep it on in my dd's bedroom 24/24.

My dd is also PS and she still gets vitamins. Never had any problems with them.

I ased to have a CT scan for my dd who is 2.5 y/o so that we have a baseline. But they do not replace x rays in our case. Did not know they sedated kids to do that. good to know.

I would be interested too. My dd is 2.5 y/o and has the same issues (no puking though). I thought it was her age but since yours is 6 y/o, it might be CF related?
