    Allie - My heat really goes out to you. I've been there. Time will help you heal but there IS a part of you that will always be lost. I know. I lost my 5 year old 30 years ago. I remember the love more than anything but still do cry for her in my heart and sometimes outloud. God Bless You.

    Advice for a bad attitude-

    Oh, GEEZ, he sure sounds like my nephew w/CF. He just wont do anything to take care of himself. He, too, went through a rebellion about it. But, he's 25 now and doing pretty well.

    My Daughter is a carrier

    My daughter was the first in our family to have CF. Most of my family didn't even know what CF is was back then. Before you could be tested for the gene, my brother had a boy with CF, then my sister was tested, she and her youngest daughter carry. Thank God for the test. It gives us choices.

    I lost my job

    I was fortunate enough to not have to work when I had Krista. That was 35 years ago. She was VERY severe and I lost her when she was 5. I do know how you feel being sick.....I too have Crohn's.
