12 weeks now...ultrasound pics!

I had 2 appointments in the last week, one was a check up and the heartbeat sounded great! The doc was a tiny bit concerned about my weight loss, but said that we won't worry about it until next month since I'm still in the 1st trimester. I am already starting to feel a little better (only feel sick part of the day instead of all day!) so hopefully I'll start adding some lbs soon <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">.

Second appt was yesterday to screen for chromosomal abnormalities, and I got to see tons of cool pics! I won't get official results until next week, but everything looked completely healthy and normal. They tried to get the baby to stretch out a bit so they could give me a gender guess, but baby wasn't having it! It was too comfy and didn't want to move, other than some flailing around in protest to all the jiggling!

I am just so happy with the pics...I finally feel like I am really pregnant now!

I'm regretting not having them tell me the gender at my appointment 2 weeks ago. I thought I wanted to wait till baby was born but now I'm not so sure - and I have to wait 4 more weeks till my ultrasound. Oh well <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I'm also not gaining weight yet. The nutritionist said that I should gain 2-3 lbs by my next appointment next week, but I think I've only gained about 1 lb. I'm sure the 2nd trimester we will gain some weight! We should have a friendly competition to see who can gain more weight LOL <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
