Thanks everyone for the encouragement and support and stories of your experiences, I LOVE it all!!

We are going to transfer only 2 and freeze the other 2. We are hoping at least one will implant. If we end up with two of course we'll take it <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> but We're not talking about it much until we have to <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">.

Debbie, turkey baster, very cute <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">. Our clinic uses guided ultrasound, apparently the placement is the most important and that is the most advanced method. Honestly not quite sure what our other options would be though.

Leandra, if/when you have time, if you can just write up something about your journey that would be great. If you don't have time, I can understand but what others have done is just typed up their experience on word and then emailed it to me. I then cut and paste into my website-here's one example <a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.cysticfibrosismaleinfertility.com/Success_Stories_IVF_2.html">http://www.cysticfibrosismaleinfertility.com/Success_Stories_IVF_2.html</a>. The other family's success story is on the website, but they have their own website so I just wrote a little bio and then made a link to their site. It can be as in depth and specific as you want (of course time provided) or rather vague but just encouragement to others who come to our website. We get about 80 hits a day on average so I'm excited about that. Also, I really respect people wanting to remain anonymous so if you did want to submit a story but didn't want to disclose your identity.

Lisa, Congratulations on your children and welcome to this site! Thanks for the encouragement!

Thanks to everyone for all the responses, I really appreciate it and it means a lot to Mark as well! He reads them all (he thinks I don't see him sneaking on this site <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> ) and it makes him smile too.

Yes, we are keeping a journal on the process, I just haven't updated in for the past 12ish days so I will be doing that sometime this coming week. You can view what we have so far, which includes just this IVF journey at <a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.cysticfibrosismaleinfertility.com/Mark_and_Julies_IVFBegins.html">http://www.cysticfibrosismaleinfertility.com/Mark_and_Julies_IVFBegins.html</a>. We do have an entire journal from when we started this process almost two years ago but I warn, it's pretty long. That can be viewed at <a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.cysticfibrosismaleinfertility.com/Mark_and_Julies_Journal.html">http://www.cysticfibrosismaleinfertility.com/Mark_and_Julies_Journal.html</a>.

I think we kind of miss out on that we don't have to sit on our eggs, like birds do, to keep them warm. I know Julie has gone through enough, but in general, wouldn't be VERY cool for humans (a couple) to have to take turns and sit on their eggs for 9 months? That would be VERY cool to me. I'm pretty good at sitting, considering video games and all. I would probably have a mate telling me to move and GTW out of the way, that my bed sore laden booty was going to infect our new future children or something. I personally think we should have to sit on our eggs for 9 months though, this whole live birth thing isn't as cool to me.

If we were like birds I request that we be Penquins. After the Mama Penquin lays the eggs, she is off on a well deserved treatment feeding on Krill in the ocean. Papa Penquin is the one who sits & keeps the eggs warm never leaving them. He fasts during the 65 days he must protect & warm the eggs. Yes you saw right "65 Days". Mama comes back in time to help care for the babies when they are hatched. Sounds like an ideal situation to me.......

Thanks everyone.

Haha Sean and Melissa, I like the idea of live birth though. and I don't think Mark could handel 1 day of fasting let alone 65 days so I'd still be stuck <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
