I contacted our pediatrician, and she advised us to put the enzymes in a small spoonful of rice cereal rather than in applesauce so that he is still getting all of his calories from protein. We have been doing that for a few days now, and it works so much better. I also got one of those pill seperator things and am using that to store his enzymes. I can't thank you all enough for your helpful advice. It sure helps to not feel so alone in going through all of this. I hope we find out soon his exact diagnosis.

I would recommend applesauce instead or rice cereal as a previous post stated. The enzymes need to be administered in something that will allow them not to break down until they reach the small intestine. Good luck!
