Well actually I didnt get to ask the doctor that I saw that day why she mentioned being induced. Right now I know that they are looking at my whole sitauation I think. I know right now I have a cold that is draining from my sinius to my chest causing me to cough terribly and cough up the stuff draining down. I am trying to hold off until he is born so I dont have to do another round of IV's because orals would do just fine but I can only be on cipro which I cant take during preagnancy, so were kinda just waiting for him to pop out. Plus I have had so much sickness that I have started to lose weight the last 2 weeks. I am only up a total of 12 pounds right now so they are watching that very close.

I actually have a friend that is my doula and I have done many hours of studing on induction and I have told that earlier in pregnacy that if induction was to be done, that I am not doing pit, and I will only look into natural ways of induction. I was with one of my best friends last jan when she had her baby and they induced her at 42 weeks with pit and accidently gave her to much and the hell that she went thru for 5 hours of non stop contractions back to back. It was insane, she had already been in the hospital for 12 hours. I am not a fan of that and I have voiced that!

As of right now I feel like a truck has run me over, I cant breathe and my chest is hurting from coughing and if my nose doesnt stop running I think I will scream! So I am really hoping that he starts to get this show going on his own! At this point you might see this girl doing jumping jacks around the block!

I don't see any reason that you shouldn't be able to go another 4 weeks. Are they thinking to induce due to the hemroids? Since it is not a safety issue (I don't think anyway) but rather a comfort issue. I believe it should be your decision. Since bringing the baby out of your belly before your body or nature planned may have negative reprocussions. In the end, feel good about what ever decision you make. You are already a great mom. Take care sweety and stay positive!

Sounds like you've done your homework, that's great!

I was induced at 40 weeks 3 days (after sitting at 2 cm and 80% effaced for two weeks), and my labor was NOT the fast and furious labor I had come to expect from being induced. Just goes to say that labor, by nature, is a complete unknown and isn't the same for anyone.

But you already know that... <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Best of luck!!!
