Well today was the 3rd sweat test and they pulled out the old machine to try on my son. It still didn't do the job. What a joke! Why are they even attempted to do this stupid test. At least she said that they had no other options at that center so pretty much we're done with that.
We also met with the nutritionist which was somewhat helpful. She told me to add cream, cheese and butter among other things to boost calories (which I'm already doing). But we were able to look at his food journal and calculate how much food he needs. The value she gave was 1200 cal/daily. He was having about 1100.
They weighed him and took all his measurements. Good news is he has gained about 6 oz in 1 week. I have really pushed food and he has a great appetite. Bad news is the ratio between his height and weight isn't good. She said he is nutrient defiecent and that concerns her. She gave me a bunch of papers and recipes and we have to go back in 6-8 weeks.
Now the waiting game continues for the blood test results which should be here in a week.
