Thanks for all the support everyone. We had a gentlemen at our home today by the name of Jay Simon from the CF foudation. We talked about our walk in September and he gave me loads of stuff to use to raise awareness. I am so pumped about this. I told my husband that we are going to need to rent office space for all the different things we have now.
This just may be why God handed us CF. We can handle it and we wont let it take us over. There is so much we can do to raise awareness and we are going to fight with everything we have. Thats how important our kids to us, not matter what happens!!
So far we have a ton of people willing to help the day of our tournament and our land lord even donated a whole pig for a pig roast. Local grocery stores are donating loads and so much more.
I made a huge cloth sign that sits right by the road at our house that says "Help us fight for a cure for Cystic Fibrosis". I had a lady stop today just out of the blue to tell me that she has seen our sign ever since we put it up and she just wanted to tell me that her grandson, who lives 200 miles south of us, has CF. And she wants to help with anything she can. See...Awareness...thats all it takes!!!
I will keep you all posted on our progress. But I think I will start another page just for that..lol
