Well I got a six pack when I started running. Right now I'm a freshman at Oklahoma city univ and I run track there, so in case you were wondering a CFer can play college sports. I have found that running, plus doing six inches and "v" ups ( which is where you lift your torso and bring your knees to your chest at the same time) will give you a nice set of abs. I also have a bloated stomach, which will still stay there but when you get your 6 pack it will show and be pushed out more, kinda like the 300 spartan abs lol but yes it is possible.

That's awesome "runningforlife". I've got abs but they aren't as noticeable due to me being sick a few months ago. I lost a lot of weight so since my near death experience I've been healthy as, go to the gym 4-5x a week to get my exercise back up. So yes abs are there to be seen, if you put in the work!

Yes, I agree, that ever CF patient is different. I'm 41 and have been doing P90X workout for almost a year. This past summer I was in the best shape since I was 20. I just became a coach for people with CF to try and help them get healthier. You can check out my website if interested and I'd be glad to help where ever I can. I'm also starting a CF Group on my website, so we can keep each other accountable. Be safe and stay active!
