My nails used to be soft and flexible until I started taking vitamins regularly. Now they grow super fast and are really strong. My friends are all envious. I tell them to take vitamins LOL. My toenails are like rocks...I cant cut the darn things except right after I get out of the shower.

nails are a very good indicator of vitamin levels and some say overall health. Taking vitamins and extra calcium+D help but I also have psoriasis in my fingernails only (very weird) so they are still less than desirable.
I have read about fingernail issues with lots cf'ers and it makes sense if you think about it.

I've noticed that when I religiously take my ADEKS, my nails (and hair) grow faster.
Also, when I'm on i.v.'s, my nails (and hair) grow faster too.
It's all about nutrition. I haven't tried any other kind of supplements, the ADEKS alone help.
