I'm pale too. Even though I have strong Mediterranean roots and live in Florida. I also have iron deficiency anemia.

i have 2 boys with CF...one is pretty pale and the other has olive skin. so at least for us, pale skin and cf are not correlated.

My daughter is very pale...It is just her complexion; my hubby is pale as well; like you said our Irish side... When she is not feeling well; I can tell cause her freckles become more noticeable and she gets even more pale. My son on the other hand; has a darker skin tone; gets like a brown berry in the summer.

I have three daughters. My CF dd is much paler then anyone else in the family. Don't know if this implies any correlation. She was born with almost white hair which has slowly darkened to light brown. Everyone else in the family has dark brown hair.

The correlation with urinary tract infections is interesting. My CF dd has had a UTI almost constantly for the last 9 months. She's on a different anti-biotic every couple of weeks. The specialist ruled out a whole bunch of things so we still don't know why she keeps getting them. We're seeing a second specialist tomorrow.
