Thank you all so much for your prayers.
This morning Garran's numbers were better, his Blood PRessure is back up to where it needs to be, and he is now pink instead of blue. Still sedated since he has the breathing tube in, and he has a central line in his Arterie and Large vein in his groin area, I cant spell the names of them so I wont even try... He also has one in his juggular (sp) and in his right hand as well as having his Port accessed, They have him hooked up to so many machines and tubes he looks like he belongs on the Matrix, it is very sad.
He can hear what is going on, and when I talk or sing to him there is a response in his brain waves. He is on about 4-5 different antibiotics, as well as hydrocortizone, insulin and fluids along with the two sedatives to keep him asleep.
All together I am not sure exactly what specific meds they have him on etc.. but there are about 10-15 different IV lines being pumped.
The Doc said yesterday that it was very close and he almost didnt make it. Hense the reason they called the Chaplain right away. So he is in very serious condition right now.
Chris should be back form the desert by tomorrow. Not sure how long he wil lbe here but at least until Garran is stable and awake etc....We dont know anything about any of that yet.
The other kids are doing ok with it, they are pretty sad and arent sure how to take it all. My oldest son will be up here today or tomorrow to see his brother. They are being watched by my sister.
I dont have access to the internet in his room so I am at the Library in the hospital but I will try to keep everyone updated as best I can.
Thank you again for all your thoughts and prayers.
Love,
