A sex question for CF men (and especially their partners)

Well I am a women with CF and don't have any salt issues in that way. I'm guessing that the amount of extra salt you would get transmitted via sex is going to be negligible. I would go to your gyn while you are having the symptoms to get checked out. If yeast infection treatments aren't helping then my best guess is bacterial or allergic reaction. Good luck figuring it out

Forgot to suggest something - when you are feeling "normal", have sex with a condom (you should be using one anyway!!) and see if you have any symptoms. If not then allergy would be on the top of my suspicion list.
Been there done that. Check with your doctor and see what effects his antibotics could be having in realation to the "good/needed" bactrica in your body. This used to happen with my wife. It is more common that you think. It is easy to fix 1 change meds, 2 condoms. And since you guys are a lot more open than we where 20 some odd years ago it can kill the good bactria in your mouth as well and cause thresh (I'm sure I miss spelt that)

I have never heard of anything like that.
I was with the X for 17 yrs total and have had a few relationships over the years.
The lady's all used the Pill so no condoms and no issues like you have described.

Are you using some kind of jell or lube that you could be allergic to ?

Has he been on any long term IV antibiotics or have reactions to them?
I hadn't had a yeast infection in over 12 years I would say but happened to get one right after hubby had been on long term antibiotics. I would most certainly get it looked at and if you do have a yeast infection be sure to both get treated together because even if he doesn't have symptoms (most males if they have them don't) then he still may have it. So to prevent it from coming back, get active treatment together. Also, talk to his doctors to see if any of his medication could be causing it as well as talk with your doctor to see if nothing with your body itself could be causing it. Good luck.
