Yeah it could have very well been TB, and general abuse. I remember the books, but I was hearing new stories offered by Ray and Robbie on the radio interview. Was amazing stuff. The thing that gets me, and puts more value to him possibly having CF is his sterility. I was kind of a man whore when growing up too, and I never had any children (thankfully). I got tested and no wigglies in my mojo (like the pun?).
As I said before individually each "clue/symptom" that he had by itself doesn't make you think. After you combine ALL the clues/symptoms and what we know about CF, especially in a mild case from that archaic time span, it seems that he could likely have had a mild case.
