About to blow a gasket

Sorry to hear about the psuedomonas. It could be possible that your daughter called only a few days after the culture, when it can take a week for pseudomonas to grow. I always call one week after my kids get cultured. You would think the clinic would have it together and call and let us know what our kids culture, but they don't.

Just today I had to bring my son back in to the clinic after being there last week. They had mislabled his culture last week with my daughter's label.

excellant advice Ratotask. I agree count how many breaths per minute.Damien is base 30 breaths per minute. Damien went the hospital in Oct. 50 breaths per minute I counted myself the day of admin. It increased very quickly he also cultured muciod pseudo for the first time in oct. We did culture pseudo one time before 2 years ago but it wasnt muciod. I know it hurts to hear those cultures and then the other BS makes you angry. Take a deep breath and keep on going. I know it sucks to be hurt and angry.LOL

The insurance company finally gave the go ahead with the script for cipro, so now she is taking cipro, tobi and bactrim. I think it is a great idea to have them send us the results from any testing from here on out. And I guess we are still learning that we are the ones who need to take the lead and get the answers one way or an other. I guess we learned a lesson here that we are the ones who have to bug the drs and know if there is something going on with Grayson. We knew something wasn't right and from now on we WILL make them listen. My daughters computer is on the blink so she is relying on me as a go between from this forum to her and she is greatful for all the info and help. She is taking Grayson to the clinic today for a full day of drs. etc.....Thanks again!

The insurance company finally gave the go ahead with the script for cipro, so now she is taking cipro, tobi and bactrim.
