has anyone been treated for abpa? if so, was it at any one particular time of year-- like spring?
this is my second time being treated for it and last year it happened to be the exact same time: April.
i wonder if its coincidence.
I don't really understand what it is or what causes it and the inflammation....any info would help.
thanks!

ABPA is the allergic reaction to aspergillus growing in the sputum in your lungs. The allergic reaction triggers an immune response (usually measured by IgE or IgG) and inflammation follows. That's the simple version.

Thanks! I did read that the aspergillus is found in organic matter and grasses. could indicate a correlation with spring but who really knows......
