Absorbtion

How many of you have a vitamin defiency? Last year I was told I had Vitamin D and C; and have been taking supplements to keep them at decent levels. A few months ago my Zinc was too low for the dr and she started me on supplements for that as well. I was just told that I have an iron and "severe" B6 defiency...

I take a multi every day and also take a B complex. In addition I take Vit C and D and zinc...I'm adding(as of tonight)iron and b6.

Do many CFer's have a problem with absorbtion?

I'm not sure if I'm deficient on any particular vitamin, but problems with absorbtion is a given I would think.

I don't know what else to say.

I learned that when you take your fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E & or K - as Adeks, or individually), you need to take an enzyme with them!

Yes, I too have a vitamin deficiency. I had severe vitamin D and calcium deficiency even though I usually eat 2 bowls of cereal a day with whole milk. I take a multivitamin that has A,B,D,E,K & Zinc written on the bottle in bold letters. I may have more deficiencies, maybe the reason for taking the "infused" vitamin, but i haven't been told. I agree with Sally, make sure u take ur enzymes with ur vitamins, otherwise it's kind of pointless in taking them because they're not being absorbed.
