ACV

Heya folks!

What do you all think of this?
I know that if I mix 4oz of ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) with a pint of water and sip it throughout the day, it's completely thins the mucus in my lungs (I don't have CF, my newborn son does, but they think I have a ploymorphism and suffered from a lot of the same issues). It really does thin the mucus almost immediately, in my sinuses and in my chest.

Now, I've also poured a littel with some water nito a pot and boiled it, then breathed it in for a while, and it also helps a ton. (In fact, since I started doing this, my annual chronic bronchitis and lung issues have vanished totally).

Do you think there is anything to this? Has anyone with CF tried this? ACV is suppose to have the effect of comlpetely thinning mucus within the mody and making it more easily passed.

See here for an example :

I would say a teaspoon in a pot of boiling water would be good for an adult to inhale.

I am sure it kills psuedomonas as well.

I personally would not do this because i had a transplant but if I had CF lungs, I would definitely try this.

Since i take anti rejection medications, I have personally muscle tested and there is an interaction with my drugs and acv so I do not take it. I believe it must be the acid content. Grapefruit juice and many other acidic fruits interfere with the absorption of drugs so be careful.
