So Adam finally made it hope on friday ct scan showed alot of improvement the Dr's are very impressed.

He was fine on friday and then ran a temp of 103.6 on saturday. Called the dr.s and they said just give him motrin and watch. he was like that for about 5 hours and then nothing.

I am usually pretty good when he comes home and resume normal life, but for some reason this time it has been different. I can't seem to get out of my mind things that maybe i did wrong to cause the fungus in his lungs. I don't know what to do. I know i have to get over it but i am afraid that it will grow again.

My Adam is strong and a fighter and I know he will do just fine. I am getting on his nerves by asking him how he feels every 15 minutes....lol<img src="">.

Oh well i just wanted to share.

See you at the christmas party.

forgot pft's went up to 62 from 55 in 1 week...yeahhh!!!

I am very happy you guys are home. I know what you mean by not being able to get back into a normal routine after hospital. I feel the same way for a while, especially if we are doing home i.v.'s. This time with Zoe's last 'quick' sinus surgery I felt like things got back to normal fairly quickly. I think it has a lot to do with how long you stay in the hospital. Thank God his pft's went up some. Was he growing Aspergillus? You had nothing to do with what he is growing...try not to blame yourself for it...I know...easier said than done, right? I think all of us parents feel like that at some point.

Welcome home! Please know that you are the best mom, and it was nothing you did--you can only do so much..don't beat yourself up. Enjoy being at home and we'll "see" you at the party! (I'll be the one with the lampshade on--I'm planning on starting the party early)
