Addicted to Boards?

So, is it strange for me to be up reading and reading and reading on these boards even though I'm exhausted and coming down with a cold?!?! I mean, what is it that's so addictive? Is it the sense of community? The sense of finally being understood? I mean, the other day, I was so busy reading the posts that I missed CSI, which is AMAZING for me! I didn't even care cause I was so interested in the posts! Does anyone else find the boards totally addictive??? Like, once you start reading, you can pass an hour or two as though they were fleeting moments? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

I think it is an addiction of sorts. My hubby just happen to ask me that last night. I told him its a combination of the drama, the information exchanged & the interaction via chatting, posting etc. This is a group that is very closedly knit even tho most of us have never met each other in person. For a long time I was neglecting things to chat/post including my treatments since our desktop computer was downstairs. Hubby got me a laptop for Christmas so now I do most of my chatting while doing my treatments & my posting inbetween errands, chores etc. I dont watch much television, but only get upset when I miss 2 shows & if I am missing them from being online then the post/chat is worth missing it.

I agree, these boards get addicting. I think it's a mix of the drama and cameraderie, we're like one big dysfunctional family lol.

Yeah, I guess you could say I am addicted. Although I don't post often I get a lot of information by reading through the treads...and I must admit, SeanDavis USUALLY makes me laugh too.
