ADEKS?!

Okay. WTF is up with getting a vitamin?! Why is it so difficult?!

First off, the pharmacy I use (CareMark) doesn't carry them. Okay, fine. I try to sign up for that program where you get them free with your Ultrase. Whoops, for some reason, can't do it (something to do with insurance, if I remember right). So I search, and search, and lo! I find them on Amazon! Great! So I order a few. Now its time for a re-order.

Oops, Amazon no longer carries them. They have AquADEKS, though...for $40 for one month!? NO WAY! I would love to know who they think can afford that! ITS A VITAMIN!! Why can I get drugs that are potentially lethal if taken for an extended period of time, but I can't get a vitamin?!

My question to everyone is this. Where do you get your ADEKS and how much do you pay for them? This is driving me nuts now, and I'll take Flinstone vitamins before I shell out fourty bucks a bottle.

Ever since ADEKS became a non-formulary generic drug, it's harder to get them and most insurance companies won't pay for them since they're generic. I use the ABDEKS from SourceCF now that they're available. Before that I took Centrum Performance, which has 200% of all the vitamins we need. My doc said that was a good one to use. Plus, Centrum has coupons in the paper every now and then! Much more cost effective than ADEKS.

I get my ADEKS for free. There is a program from Axcan that allows me free ADEKS when I send in proof of purchase for my enzymes. (Ultrase MT20).

I've had trouble getting them too. Recently my compound pharmacy where I get the eflow sent a complimentary bottle with my last order. Its says on the bottle source cf. Also, these are the soft gels and I think they are more potent. i was glad about that.
