ADEKS?!

I just switched from ADEKs to SourceCF softgels. I heard that ADEKs were being discontinued, though I don't know where I heard it or how much truth there is in that. I switched when my pharmacy said they didn't have them in stock and didn't know when they'd be getting them in (CF Services pharmacy, btw). My advice would be to get a prescription for the SourceCF vitamins, which by the way, my insurance paid for (whereas I had to pay out of pocket for the ADEKs).

Try contacting the company on the ADEK label. They might be able to help you. I have always been able to get mine for free, but I live in Ontario Canada..I'm not sure where you are but if you are in the U S it might be different.

G'Luck!

We had just switched Katy to ADEK's several months ago, and then they started "phasing them out" in favor of their AquaADEK. Yes, we paid $41 for that bottle, and Katy had a "niacin flush" to her first dose so we stopped using them.

We've gone back to Vitamax, which we can get for free from Solvay everytime we show proof of purchase of Creon, plus they send us our choice of Carnation Instant Breakfast Ultra or some other fortified juice choices. You can also choose from the Source CF vitamin line, I believe. It is quick and easy to fill out the form and we receive the product within 10 days.

Well I can't get the stupid link to work but if you google "solvay extra helpings" you should be directed to a site with more info.

But to your point - yes it sucks, the runaround in getting simple vitamins.
