Our son takes ADHD medication and we are trying to find what is the best time to give him the med to gain the most of it's use:

1. Should it be given with enzymes at the time of a meal to enhance absorption?

2. If given at the time of a meal with enzymes do the enzymes 'eat' the medication and the body not get the benefits?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

The enzymes will not change how the medication works- they work the same way his own pancreatic enzymes would, to digest food. Oral medications are made to be broken down and absorbed in this environment and be effective. :)

To get the best effect, you'll want to give it to him early in the day, but get a good breakfast into him first since he may have a reduced appetite early on in the day after taking it- especially when new to the med.
